Trwyn Du is a headland overlooking Aberffraw Bay and a sandy beach. Excavations have revealed that Middle Stone Age people lived here nine thousand years ago. Arrow tips and stone axes from this period have been found. The stones that can be seen protruding through the grass are from a burial cairn that was built here about five thousand years ago. This is a delightful place to linger and a short distance away is a stone seat from where you can enjoy the views.
