Wrexham County Borough Museum is housed it what was originally built as a barracks for the Royal Denbighshire Militia in 1857. By 1879, the building changed roles and became the town’s magistrates court and home to the local constabulary. During the war it was used by the ARP’s whose air raid siren is still in situ at the side of the building. Today, the museum has a wide range of displays from an early Bronze Age man known as the Brymbo Man to information on the local tile and iron works.
