This small museum is located close to the heart of this Lancashire town and is dedicated to the history of steam, and the effects that it has had on the community. Obviously the steam engine and the railways have been a large part, but also the major industry that developed around the industrial revolution. There are many great pictures, artefacts and other pieces on display to entertain and inform visitors.
