Bury Art Gallery acts as far more than just a place where people can observe paintings and sculptures. It does carry a large collection of works, many of which are associated with local painters or are themed with Lancashire in mind. It also serves as a museum and has many artefacts and documents on display that fused with the archives of the area make for a fascinating place to visit.
