This picnic site is situated just off the A6, four miles to the north of Carnforth It is an ideal starting point for walks with numerous footpaths and bridleways in the vicinity. On Sunday and Bank Holidays from Easter until October, a miniature railway is run by Lancaster & Morecambe Engineering Society Ltd. and visitors can enjoy rides on trains along tracks that circumvent the picnic site, making it a great day out for young families and railway enthusiasts alike. Donations to the Society are welcomed.
