This is the only non-conformist place of worship to be owned and operated by English Heritage, situated close to Burnley in the small village of Goodshaw. The Baptist chapel was built between 1742 and 1809 and is complete with a set of box pews, galleries and pulpit. There is a festival and hymns and sermons still held at the chapel every July, when the property comes back to life.
