This beautiful residence was once the ancestral home of the Earl of Crawford and Balcarres. Haigh Hall was built in the mid 19th Century and represents one of the finest stately homes in this area of the country. Sold to Wigan Council in 1947, the hall has over two hundred and fifty acres of parkland that are well maintained and open to the public to enjoy.
