Haworth Art Gallery, a Tudor-style Edwardian house, was built for the children of Thomas Haworth, Accrington’s most important cotton manufacturer. It is a fine example of the Arts and Crafts style of architecture, with stained glass windows and beautiful wood and plaster decorative elements. The Haworth displays the largest public collection of Tiffany glass in Europe as well as and a range of paintings by famous British artists.
