This museum is housed in the old Town Hall and was the first municipal museum to include a regimental museum. The exhibitions tell the story of the King’s Own Royal Regiment from 1680 until the modern day. Some of the topics covered include the Crimean War, the expeditions to Abyssinia, the world wars and conflicts of the second half of the 20th Century, including Iraq.
