This museum is a superb place if, like me, you love machines and industry as it gives visitors a fantastic insight into how these machines and their use transformed the city of Manchester. My kids were particularly taken by the costumed characters that tell the story of science and industry. For me the best thing is that, apart from some of the changing exhibits, admission is free.
