Situated in the heart of Bolton and established for 40 years, the award-winning Octagon Theatre is one of the finest regional theatres in the country. The Octagon stages 8 - 10 home-produced shows a year, and hosts a varied programme of visiting shows from the cream of the UK’s touring companies. In addition to its two theatre spaces, the Octagon houses the Spotlight Café which is open daily for meals, snacks and pre-theatre dining along with a theatre bar.
