East Lancashire’s most notorious supernatural activity from times past is the episode involving the ’Pendle Witches’ in the 17th century. The journey begins in Barrowford, at the historic 17th century Park Hill, now home to the Pendle Heritage Centre, where you can browse in the parlour shop, visit the farm project, relax in the garden tea-room or the walled garden and take a woodland walk.
