The resort stages festivals and events all year round, and has beautiful parks and gardens, sandy beaches and an excellent choice of shops, as well as a vibrant nightlife. It is a haven for golfers with no less than seven championship courses.

  Latest Southport Review

Been to Southport many times as it is only 30 miles from Blackpool where we live.

We prefer to shop in Southport rather than Blackpool as the shopping areas are much more conducive to a relaxing shopping experience, with well organised traffic wardens patrolling the shopping parking areas and the ease of access for disabled shoppers.

The shop assistants are very friendly and helpful and the choice of major stores is excellent.
