The Pankhurst Centre offers a unique female-only environment where women are encouraged to learn together, work on differing projects and to socialise. The centre is named in honour of Emmeline Pankhurst the great suffragette who fought for the right for women to get the vote in Britain. The centre has a range of resource facilities, a library and free Internet access and a crèche for children.
