The Wyreside Ecology Centre is one of the most interesting attractions open to those visiting the local country park. As well as being home to an information centre, the complex has a series of interesting interactive exhibitions aimed at explaining the complex ecology of this area of natural beauty. The plants, animal and bird life are all discussed, as well as opening a dialogue with visitors about the impact of human kind on a sensitive environment such as this.
