Belfast Zoo is a world class facility situated on a 55 acre site on Cave Hill overlooking Belfast Lough. The zoo features over 160 species of rare and endangered animals, including gorilla and chimpanzee enclosures, an elephant and giraffe house, underwater viewing of penguins, and free flight aviary. Recent additions to the zoos collection include a family of singing Moloch gibbons, cape porcupines, and barbary lions. A restaurant, childrens playground, and souvenir shop make Belfast Zoo a great family day out. Free parking available.
