This impressive 15th Century castle overlooks Lough Erne in Enniskillen. It has award-winning displays on Fermanagh’s history, wildlife and landscape with AV programmes and special exhibitions. Explore the old castle keep housing the Museum of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Lifesize models in the vaults show the castle life in the 1400s and 1600s. The castle’s history is traced from its beginnings as a Maguire castle until its use as a barracks in the 1700s and 1800s.
