This award-winning museum tells the interesting story of the city of Derry. One of the key exhibits is a large display dedicated to the Spanish Armada of 1588, much of which was shipwrecked nearby off the coast of Donegal, but not discovered until 1971. Another key exhibit looks at Northern Ireland in pres-historic times, studying fossils and the foundations of mankind on the Emerald Isle.
