We stumbled across this gem of a village completely by accident whilst touring Northumberland and what a welcoming place it is. The village pub has a lovely atmosphere and served lovely food. We found ourselves as spectators at the annual leek show which was really good fun. There are some interesting places to visit close to the village like Ridley Hall and some nice walking routes around the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is a really nice place to spend the day.

Bardon Mill is a very small village in Northumberland and has one main pub; Bowes Hotel. There is a great atmosphere, good ale and good food - what more can you ask for! ? We took part in the conkers competition which happens every October and what a laugh we had! It is suitable for all ages and is a fantastic way to meet new people.
There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area, from long country walks to visiting places of interest such as Willmoteswick Manor and Ridley Hall.
