Close to the harbour at Seahouses, you can buy tickets for boats trips to the Farne Islands. These trips are particular popular with birdwatchers, but it’s not only bird life that you can expect to see. There are also grey seal colonies out there - in fact, it is estimated that there could be as many as 4,000 seals at the Farne Islands.
