Hadrian’s Wall is one of the most famous man made constructions in Britain, and served as the man made defence point and border between the English and Scottish for many hundreds of years. Crossing almost the whole of the country, the wall is a symbol of a past that has not been forgotten, and a heritage that we as a nation still like to talk about to this day. This museum shows the development and history of the wall.
