The Heatherslaw Corn Mill would have once been an important part of the local industry, and provided an invaluable service to the community. It is no longer in general use, but is open to the public to see the conditions in which it operated and to be learned about. A museum of technology and industry, the mill is a fascinating place to visit and contains a great many curios.
