The Durham Light Infantry Museum and Art Gallery share premises and make quite comfortable bedfellows, although at immediate consideration of the names, you might not think this the case. There is an extensive military collection on show that celebrates the long association the people of the county have had with the armed forces. There are also pieces of art that have been collected from across the country and beyond on display.
