The Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art is based in Sunderland and is one of the most prestigious art galleries in the north of England. The gallery was opened in 1995 and since that time has been committed to helping young and emerging talents get their first commissions. Names who have gone on from here to international success include Sam Taylor Wood and AK Dolven to name but a few.
