This area in the north of England has a long and proud tradition associated with the armed forces in Britain, and therefore it is a great location for such a fine museum. Dedicated to this brave division of the army, the collection is made up of a great many weapons, uniforms, medals, photographs. One of the most interesting exhibits is called ‘A Soldiers Life’ and follows the way that an individual member of the army lives his life day to day.
