  Latest South Shields Review

We really love the seaside town of South Shields. We stayed in a lovely hotel on the sea front in a central location. There is a good choice of hotels, B&Bs and self-catering options too. We enjoyed fresh fish and chips for lunch and went into the town centre for an evening meal where there are restaurants serving all types of cuisine. Our children enjoyed the Ocean Beach Pleasure Park and the mini golf course at Smugglers Cove.   - Hannah
