  Latest Staindrop Review

The village of Staindrop is situated in the beautiful area of County Durham. From here we visited Barnard Castle and Raby Castle. There is a nice little teahop and a few pubs. Staindrop has an interesting history dating back to 1031. It was a busy medieval village and St Mary's Church from this period still exists. The stone houses around the village green make it really quaint and you feel like you have taken a step back in time.   - Mick Brown
