The Theatre Royal is built in a classic style with a beautiful auditorium. It hosts many big travelling shows, including the RSC, so there is always something for everyone. It is also situated at the top of Grey Street near to the main shopping areas of Newcastle. The theatre has undergone a major restoration and now has a new café, education centre and a larger stage.
