Trinity House is an historic maritime society that was originally established to help support the safe navigation and welfare of those who took to the high seas. Begun in 1492, the organisation gained a Royal Charter from Henry VIII in 1536. The beautiful building houses the archives of the society, which are on public display along with many interesting maps, documents and paintings.
