The Baring Wing is a modern gallery attached to the University of Newcastle. Outside is the especially commissioned sculpture Pillar Man by Nico Widerberg. The inside of the gallery is filled with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. Exhibits are shown over two floors. The exhibits change regularly and are varied from modern sculpture, contemporary art and photographic exhibitions.
