The Pier Arts Centre is based on the Isles of Orkney, a place that you would not first think of looking for one of the most important collections of modern and contemporary art in Scotland. There are amazing works on display here that chart the development and growth of many different styles of painting and sculpture throughout the 20th Century into a new millennium.
