The textile industry has been one of the most important on the Shetland Islands for many hundreds of years. This small museum is dedicated to telling the story of the industry and the people that have worked within it. The collection is an interactive and working display where visitors can see the processes in action, and even on occasion try their own hand at spinning wool and creating clothing.
