Hidden deep within the Historic Dockyard at Chatham, in Kent, is a place of peace and quiet cultivated over the centuries for the Admirals based at Chatham when it belonged to the Royal Navy. Countless generations of gardeners have tended the gardens and there are displays how these craftsmen developed the garden since the 1500s. The so called Admiral's Garden is now open to the public and can also be hired out for weddings and events.
