The Abbey was amazing, with some interesting interactive displays. The children really enjoyed the Yesterday’s World, which was...

I love this slice of old East Sussex, the quaint High Street and the air of history that pervades Battle is almost palpable as you stroll the street. Battle is a small town, with a village feel, but then you have Battle Abbey and the scene of the 1066 Battle after which the town is named. There are some lovely small cafe's and restaurants here and another superb attraction is Yesterday's World, a true step back into yesterday.
