Bepton is a village in West Sussex about three miles south-west of Midhurst. It has a pretty area of green land known locally as Bepton Common. Bepton was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Babintone. Its main tourist attraction is the pretty church of St Mary, which dates back more than seven hundred years.
