Blackfriars Priory
Canterbury, Kent CT1 - England, UK

Map
The Dominicans arrived in Canterbury in 1221, and Henry III gave them land to build a friary in 1237. This building, which was the Friary’s refectory, and the guesthouse nearby are today all that's left. The refectory now houses King's School art department, and exhibitions are sometimes held here. The best views of the Friary are from the river - boat trips head this way from Westgate Towers and King's Bridge.
