Located in the charming West Sussex village of Boxgrove, close to Chichester, the remains of this once grand priory are overseen and preserved by English Heritage. The main structure is thought to have been built between the 12th and 14th Centuries. The Benedictine priory would have played an important part in the community, and in fact the old priory church now serves as the parish church for Boxgrove.
