One of the best narrow gauge railways in the UK with a fine collection of twelve steam locomotives. On open days at least two operate a regular passenger service on the 1km line and visitors can take unlimited rides. A large building houses steam locomotives, traction engines, model railway, vintage vehicles and a working beam engine. The railway is close to Leeds Castle with picnic sites, woodland walks and free parking on 30 acres of grass and woodland.
