Brighton Buddhist Centre has been the centre of Buddhism in the city since it opened in 1974. The purpose of the centre is to provide a place of worship and education for Buddhist people living on the south coast. Activities at the centre are organised by members of the Western Buddhist. New visitors are welcomed to the centre to take part in meditation activities and silent contemplation or simply to find out more about Buddhism.
