The Brighton Unitarian Church was built in 1820 and was not wholly welcomed by the community when it was first built. It's classical style was described as being 'like a heathen temple' by the Brighton Guide shortly after the inaugural service. However as time has moved on the beautifully constructed facility has become part of the community and is now home to a large congregation of worshippers who meet regularly at the facility.
