If you, like me, adore seaside resorts that cater for every person in your family then Broadstairs could be ideal for you with a choice of no fewer than seven different beaches. My lot were spoiled for choice for things to do from paddling in the sea to learning about Charles Dickens. In fact our visit coincided with the annual Dickens Festival and it was great to see all the period Victorian costumes leading us around the resort.
