Latest Chichester Review

I recently had to visit Chichester for a business meeting. It was baking hot and my associate decided to take the meeting in Priory Park, eager to get the business I agreed and found this lovely location in the centre of a delightful city with its magnificent cathedral. On the way back we walked through the medieval city centre and along the ancient Roman city walls. I think I may have found another West Sussex city that I adore.

All around Chichester I discovered remarkable links to its Roman past, even down to the street plan, which still apparently follows the original Roman routes. Obviously there's a lot that brings the city right up to date, a stunningly beautiful cathedral, a quite lovely canal walks, the Festival Theatre and the Royal Military Police Museum are just a handful of the places we visited during an excellent day trip to the city.
