The town of Hastings is situated on sea level primarily, at the foot of several towering cliffs behind it There are several well mapped and signposted cliff top walks that take visitors around the edge of the cliffs safely and offer them impressive views of both the town and the unspoilt countryside and sea scape around it. The walks are extremely popular in the summer months.
