Coulsdon Common is an historic piece of public land on the edge of the oldest part of the town. The common is a mixture of open grassland and woodland hideaways. The grassy areas are used by locals for seasonal sports including cricket, football and rugby. The woodland is popular amongst locals and attracts visitors from miles around to wander through nature enjoying the many different types of wild life and animal life that live within.
