Crofton Common is a piece of public parkland located in the small suburb of Crofton on the edge of Orpington. For many years this park and common has been one of the principle places of outdoor rest and relaxation as well as recreation for the people of the area. During the summer months the park is popular with picnickers and those simply wishing to escape the busy streets.
