Dorking Halls was built in 1930 and the composer, Vaughan Williams, had an input into its beautiful Art Deco design. It was fully refurbished in 1997 to become the state-of-the-art concert hall and cinema it is today. The venue is one of the most popular in Surrey as it offers a wide range of entertainment. In addition to being a cinema, the venue hosts jazz, comedy, rock concerts, classical music, ballet and drama. It is easily accessible by rail, road and bus and there is a car park next to the venue.
