The Port of Dover has since Roman times been a major route to and from the continent. Today the port is the busiest ferry terminal in the Europe, but to one side of the port is Dover Marina. This award winning marina has berths, for private yachts and boats, available for over 500 vessels. The marina has tidal and non tidal berths and also offers extensive facilities for boaters such as water, electricity and essential boat maintenance.
