The small village of Eythorne near Dover in Kent is tucked away in the folds of the North Downs but this did not prevent many men from the community losing their lives in conflict. The War Memorial in Eythorne reflects their sacrifice and consists of a bath stone wheeled cross set upon a square base. In total there are thirty five names on the memorial for those lost in the First and Second World Wars.
