The Gravesend Rugby Club was founded around 1885 but became increasingly successful in club and league competitions after 1931 when the rugby club completed a merger with Darenth Rugby Football Club. The club moved to its current location in 1982 and plays throughout the winter months. The club is always on the lookout for new and talented rugby players and a coaching program is available for those who wish to join the club in the future.
