HJ Round was one of the great pioneers of radio transmission and spent a great deal of his life as assistant to the legendary Marconi. Round lived some of his life in Brighton and was involved in other radio experiments along the south coast in Bognor Regis. His influence on the radio and communications world and history cannot be downplayed and he is fondly regarded by historians of the era.
